Sacha Boey reveals he was contacted by OM

Sacha Boey, a sure value for Galatasaray on the right side of defense, could have returned to France. He revealed that Olympique de Marseille got in touch with him.

Ligue 1 could have had one more French gem in the league. Sacha Boey is starting to have a name that is circulating in Europe. Regularly a starter with his club, Galatasaray and after a busy summer, the native of Montreuil was sounded out by big clubs. Arsenal was interested in the Premier League. Marseille also tried its luck.

Originally from the Paris region, Sacha Boey was approached by Olympique de Marseille this summer for a possible transfer to Ligue 1. But the former Dijon player ultimately remained in Turkey. In an interview with Le Média Carré, the 23-year-old admits that OM showed a keen interest in the defender: “Yes, it’s true, OM was interested in me. After that, I can’t tell you how or why, but there were things with Marseille.”

Sacha Boey is still a very attractive player. With the winter transfer window approaching, will we see him leave Galatasaray, who is under contract until June 2025?

It is possible that Boey could leave Galatasaray in the winter transfer window. He is a talented player who is attracting attention from other clubs. OM are still interested in him, and they could make a move for him if they need to strengthen their defense.

However, it is also possible that Boey will stay at Galatasaray. He is a key player for the club, and they may not be willing to sell him. Only time will tell what will happen.
