Robert Lewandowski Emotionally Announces Future Retirement Date at FC Barcelona

In a recent interview with Sportsman’s Club, Robert Lewandowski has revealed the anticipated date of his retirement. The football world is abuzz with speculation as the Polish striker shares his emotional insights into his future plans.

Approaching the twilight of his career, Robert Lewandowski’s retirement seems imminent, yet the timeline may be farther off than anticipated. Speaking to Sportsman’s Club, the FC Barcelona forward opened up about his impending retirement. At 35 years old, Lewandowski believes he still has several fruitful years ahead of him.

“I don’t dwell on what I’ve already won or accomplished. I still have that feeling and passion within me. I think I can continue playing football for three or four more years because I feel physically very good. I don’t know what I would do without playing football,” explained the former Bayern Munich star, hinting at a potential retirement at the age of 39.

Contracted with Barça Until 2026

However, there’s a catch. Robert Lewandowski, the current player at FC Barcelona, is under contract with the Blaugrana until June 2026. If he intends to play until his late 30s or early 40s, he will need to extend his contract with the Catalans or seek a new and ultimate challenge.

Recent reports from El Chiringuito suggested that Barcelona might consider selling him as early as this summer. This raises the question: What will be the grand finale of Lewandowski’s illustrious career? It remains a complete mystery, even though the Saudi Pro League has reportedly shown interest in him.
