Florentino Pérez considers Toni Kroos renewal to be more urgent than Mbappé’s

Carlo Ancelotti sees no clear replacement for Kroos in the Real Madrid squad, which is why he is urging Florentino Pérez to sign him first before Mbappé.

Real Madrid has no intention of letting Toni Kroos leave the club at the end of the season. This is evident from his impressive performances over the past few seasons, in which he has been one of the team’s most important players.

“The Real Madrid board, coaching staff, and sporting director all consider the renewal of Toni Kroos to be a priority,” Miguel Serrano wrote in OkDiario. “Kroos’ contract expires in June, he is undroppable for Ancelotti, and he is even considering returning to the German national team for the Euro Cup.”

Renewing Kroos’ contract for another year would be essential for Real Madrid to continue its project. The club has not found a reliable replacement for the German midfielder, and it wants to keep him on board. However, Kroos is not so sure.

For the past few seasons, he has said that he does not want to retire as a bench player. He would rather leave the game at the top, at his best level. It seems that Toni Kroos will have to make a decision in the coming months.

Real Madrid sees this as a priority issue that needs to be resolved. It is even more important than the arrival of potential signings such as Kylian Mbappé or Alphonso Davies. Toni Kroos has until June to make a decision, but Real Madrid is confident that he will renew his contract for at least one more season.
