Isco extends Real Betis contract to 2027

Real Betis are making moves in the transfer market, even though it hasn’t officially opened yet.

Isco has been a revelation at Real Betis since joining on a free transfer this summer, and he’s not going anywhere anytime soon. The Spanish attacking midfielder has signed a new contract with the Verdiblancos that will keep him at the club until 2027.

The Seville club went all out to announce the extension of their No. 22, taking inspiration from the Ali G comedy and staging a traffic altercation between two drivers, each in a car from the club’s sponsor. Isco is one of the drivers, and he stuns the other driver by taking off his shirt to reveal a jersey with “Isco, 2027” on it. Sasha Baron Cohen has yet to comment.

With this extension, Real Betis have pleased both their sponsor and their supporters, who will be thrilled to know that Isco is expected to spend another three and a half seasons with the club.
