PSG is all over Diego Llorente

Paris Saint Germain is looking to bolster its defense with the Spanish defender, but it’s not going to be easy. PSG thought it was going to have a quiet transfer window, but then things went pear-shaped.

First, young Gabriel Moscardo, who was brought in to replace the long-term injured Presnel Kimpembe, got injured and will be out for three months. Then, Milan Skriniar was operated on and will be out for several months.

So, the PSG needs to find another central defender, and fast. According to FootMercato, the club is keen on Diego Llorente who is on loan at Roma from Leeds United until 2026.

Under José Mourinho, the former Real Sociedad man has started 16 Serie A games this season. PSG coach Luis Enrique knows Llorente well, having worked with him with the Spanish national team.

PSG has made an offer to Roma for Llorente, but the Italian club is holding out for more money. In the meantime, PSG is also working on signing a right-back. Luis Campos is reportedly close to signing Nordi Mukiele from RB Leipzig.
