Urgent meeting in Madrid’s boardroom after Al-Khelaïfi’s words: “He can go…”

The Mbappé saga, of course, is the case of a footballer and a club that seem to want to end up together for the longest time.

Obviously, we are talking about the French player Kylian Mbappé and the club is Real Madrid.

The player’s situation is very simple: Mbappé’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain expires this coming summer of 2024 and, from this month of January, the player can negotiate with any club and even sign for it for next season as there are less than six months left for the end of his contract.

But the future of Kylian Mbappé is now completely uncertain. Everyone, obviously, talks about the possibility that he could go to Real Madrid, but with the Frenchman the truth is that absolutely anything can happen and we won’t know what happens until the summer itself.

Al Khelaifi’s words about Mbappé

In this context, Nasser Al Khelaifi spoke to the sports media RMC: “What I want and wish is for Mbappé to stay. For me he is the best player in the world and for me too Paris Saint-Germain is the best club for him. We gave him everything he wanted sportingly and we built a project that is its center, centered on him. I hope he stays.”

As we can see, the words of the president of the Paris entity are very clear: he wants Mbappe to stay because he believes he is the best player in the world and emphasizes that Paris Saint-Germain has given Mbappe everything he has wanted at all times.

Real Madrid’s position

On the other hand, in the Real Madrid boardroom, it seems that there has been an urgent meeting and Florentino Pérez and José Ángel Sánchez would have said the following: “He can get used to losing.”

The Real Madrid leaders are very calm about the Mbappé case. They know that the last word is up to the player and if his real desire is to play for Real Madrid, he will do it at all costs, no matter what Al Khelaifi says.

Therefore, there is still calm in Real Madrid and we are only waiting for Kylian Mbappé to finally be a Real Madrid player.
