Union Berlin: Behrens joins Wolfsburg (official)

Kevin Behrens, a key part of Union Berlin’s impressive season last year, is on the move to Wolfsburg. The 32-year-old striker, who has scored four goals in 18 Bundesliga appearances this season, has signed a contract with the Wolves that will keep him at the club until 2026.

Behrens’ transfer is a major coup for Wolfsburg, who are looking to improve their attack after a disappointing start to the season. The German international has a proven track record in the Bundesliga, having scored 33 goals in 123 appearances for Union. He is also a versatile player who can play up front or in a wide position.

Behrens’ arrival is a sign that Wolfsburg are serious about challenging for European qualification this season. The Wolves are currently 11th in the Bundesliga, but they are just four points off the top six.
