Tottenham Hotspur target Raphinha

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Raphinha from Barcelona, according to reports from masfichajes.

The Brazilian winger has struggled to make a consistent impact at Camp Nou since joining from Leeds United in the summer of 2022.

Raphinha has only started 12 of his 20 appearances for Barcelona this season, scoring four goals and providing seven assists.

Tottenham are looking to strengthen their attacking options and believe Raphinha could be the ideal player to add to their squad.

The 26-year-old is known for his pace, trickery, and eye for goal. He would provide Spurs with another option in attack, alongside Heung-Min Son, Dejan Kulusevski, and Richarlison.

Raphinha is also a good fit for Tottenham’s style of play. He is a direct player who likes to run at defenders and create chances for his teammates.

Tottenham are likely to face competition for Raphinha’s signature, with Arsenal and Chelsea also interested in the player.

However, Tottenham believe they can convince Raphinha to move to north London. The club are offering him a significant pay rise and the chance to play in the Champions League.

Raphinha has a contract with Barcelona until 2027, but the Spanish club are willing to sell him if they receive a suitable offer.

Tottenham are reportedly prepared to pay up to €50 million (£44 million) for Raphinha.
