Real Madrid: Fan tackled to ground trying to approach Luka Modric

This Wednesday, Real Madrid travel to Bayern Munich’s pitch for the first leg of the Champions League semi-final. On the eve of the match, the Madrid delegation arrived in Munich in the afternoon and was greeted by a crowd of supporters ready to cheer on their team. Among them, one very excited fan was eager to meet Luka Modrić, the Madrid midfield player. The young supporter tried to evade the security and German police to meet the Croatian player.

However, he couldn’t get close to the player. Indeed, the fan was quickly tackled to the ground by the Madrid security, and two German police officers then arrested him to take his details, as reported by Marca.

“There will be no financial penalty; we just took his details for the report. He’s a child; he needs to be careful with this kind of behaviour because it’s dangerous,” a policeman told journalists. Injured in the face and wrist, the Real Madrid fan claims to be slightly injured. “I know I acted wrongly, but I wanted to meet him. It’s the best moment of my life,” he explained.
