Guardiola Gives Order to City After Kroos’ Departure: “120 Million or He’ll Sign for Madrid”

The transfer market is already buzzing, even though it’s currently closed. However, Toni Kroos’ farewell to professional football, as expected, has sparked all the rumors surrounding Real Madrid.

Florentino Pérez and José Ángel Sánchez, alongside Carlo Ancelotti, maintain their focus on the UEFA Champions League final, but they’re also looking ahead. The departure of the German midfielder will require some action.

All eyes of Madridismo are on Florian Wirtz, a player highly admired at the Santiago Bernabéu, and there’s fear of a move from Manchester City in this transfer window.

Pep Guardiola is aware that Kroos’ departure means Real Madrid will pursue Wirtz next summer, especially as Luka Modric is expected to leave unless there’s a last-minute surprise.

For this reason, the Manchester City coach knows they must go all out this summer to try and snatch Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen now, while the Whites aren’t in pursuit. Waiting until next year would give Madrid an advantage.

The City entity is prepared to pay up to 120 million euros right away to prevent the German gem from spending another season at BayArena.
