Joselu regrets signing: Florentino’s response

Joselu and Florentino have spoken about his arrival at Real Madrid

The Spanish striker fulfilled a dream by wearing the first team shirt of Real Madrid, but he feels that he arrived at the team a little late.

Both Florentino and Joselu believe that he should have joined Real Madrid at the age of 27 or 28, not 34. Even so, he was very important in his last season in the elite. He scored 17 goals, and of all of them, the two he scored against Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi-finals stand out.

Joselu is leaving happy and satisfied to have fulfilled his dream, although he is left with a thorn in his side for not having arrived sooner. The same goes for Florentino Pérez, who also acknowledged this to him. The club would have preferred to have Joselu as a second striker instead of Mariano. But that’s how things have gone, and they can’t be changed.

Now he is moving to Qatar to sign his last big contract and start a new adventure with his family. At Madrid, they understand his decision, although they believe he could have postponed it for a year. Unlike what Joselu believes, the club believes that the striker would have more minutes than expected.

The decision is made

Joselu will not continue at Real Madrid. The Merengue team will be left without the only out-and-out striker in the squad, but will solve his absence with the arrival of Endrick and Mbappé, two different strikers, but with a lot of goals and dribbling.

He is leaving with his head held high, because when he joined the team, many Real Madrid fans did not have much hope for him and did not believe he would be so important. However, he ended up winning the love and respect of everyone with his performance and dedication.
