Barça will be without Vitor Roque for their upcoming match against Granada after the Brazilian forward’s red card against Alavés was upheld.
Roque, 18, came off the bench to score a brace and help Barça win 4-2. However, he was sent off in the 88th minute for a second yellow card.
Barça appealed the decision, but it was rejected by the Spanish Football Federation’s Disciplinary Committee.
Roque’s suspension is a blow for Barça, who are without several other key players due to injury.
The young forward has been in impressive form since joining Barça from Athletico Paranaense in January. He has scored four goals in six appearances for the club.
Barça will be hoping that Roque can return to action for their next match against Espanyol on February 19.
